L'Empire de l'Accélération - Marc FERRERO's masterful total work at the heart of Storytelling Art
Painted graphic novels (180 original works)
First part of the project, The Empire of Acceleration takes the form of a fully painted graphic novel, made up of 180 original paintings. Through a sequential narrative, fictional characters and a composition inspired by cinema, this work offers a critical and poetic reading of the speed at work in our contemporary societies.

Audiovisual adaptation
The Empire of Acceleration is currently undergoing audiovisual development in partnership with international producers, including the producer of Sin City. The aim is to transpose the painted graphic novel into a film or serial format, while preserving its visual universe and dramaturgy. The audiovisual adaptation will enable us to reach a wider audience and bring Storytelling Art into line with the new narratives of the moving image.
Immersive exhibition
In parallel with the audiovisual adaptation, L'Empire de l'Accélération is being developed as an immersive exhibition. Conceived as a narrative journey, this experience allows the public to physically cross the two worlds of the story - the Empire of Acceleration and the Disqualified World - through sets, projections, interactive devices and trajectory choices linked to the main characters. This innovative format turns the painted work into a space to be experienced, and represents a new stage in Storytelling Art, mobilizing both pictorial tradition and immersive technologies
